Abstract:
In today's highly competitive world, supplier selection is an important decision for efficient supply chain management. Appropriate suppliers reduce the purchasing price and lead-time and increase customer satisfaction. However, after supplier selection stage it is possible that some of the selected suppliers' performances are not acceptable and caused more cost for our supply chain. In an agile supply chain management, it is necessary to have a solution for these cases and eliminate these kinds of suppliers. In this paper, we introduce two crisp/fuzzy multi-objective linear models to eliminate the most costly supplier and determine the amount of purchase from the remaining suppliers. Here we have three objective functions: total purchasing cost that must be minimised, quality and service level that must be maximised. Finally, case studies are presented to illustrate how our proposed models work.
