Design of precision recycle system of colour filter for TFT-LCD

P.S. Pa

International Journal of Manufacturing Technology and Management, 2009, vol. 18, issue 3, 271-281

Abstract: This study focuses on 6th Generation and above TFT-LCDs and the technologies used to carry out the selective removal of thin film microstructure from the colour filter surface of optoelectronic flat panel displays as well as the complete removal from the substrate of the ITO layer, RGB layer or resin BM layer. Through the establishment of a recycle process for colour filters, the industry will be able to reduce both production costs and pollution. Experimental results indicate that defective ITO and RGB film layers can now be recycled with great precision.
