Abstract: The article presents the development of the world non-ferrous scrap market during 2012 and projections for 2013. The international prices declined for the aluminium and copper scraps as against 2011, reflecting the slowing down of the economic growth in the main consuming countries (developped and emerging economies). For 2013, the projections show a price recovery.
