Abstract:
The article presents, the evolution of the economic iem:conjununcture in 2013 and the prospects for 2014-2015. According to OECD - „ Economic Outlook-may 2014†, Mexico’s economic performance in 2013 has been resilient to economic structural reforms initiated by the new president Enrique Pena Nieto that took office a year earlier( december 2012). Despite a promising outlook, growth has been below potential with real GDP expected to be in 2013 the slowest since economic recession in 2009. As related by the international analysts, growth should rebound in 2014 and 2015 in consequence of the recent structural reforms’implementation and to the fact that Mexico benefits of huge international reserves, a flexible IMF credit line arrangement and a small public debt.
