Abstract: The paper addresses the main issues of long-term evolution of world market copper metal barometer considered economic and widely used in industrial production. Analysis of the most recent statistics points to the relationship between the two fundamental elements of market and presents factors with major influence on the development of demand and world supply of metal and developments metal price quoted Metal Exchange in London (London Metal Exchange-LME) which in the past has seen a significant decline. The paper also contains forecasts of the international market, making comments on the possibility of developing new mining projects to ensure future supply of metal and metal price forecasts for the evolution of red on short and medium term.
