Abstract: According to the estimates in the European Commission "Spring" Report, published on May 3rd 2016, after three years of recession, the year 2015 recorded for Italy the getting out of economic crisis, while for the period 2016-2017 the experts forecast a strengthening of the pace of growth, this being based mainly on reviving the domestic demand. Inflation is expected to remain low also in 2016, due to the reduction of energy prices and other raw materials. Instead, the unemployment remains high, but for the period ahead, a slight decrease is anticipated. By 2016 it is expected that the budget deficit will reduce slightly, and the public debt to maintain at the same level as in 2015, before starting to reduce in 2017.
