Abstract:
In this paper we highlight the current context of the natural gas sector in the European Union, focusing on Central and Eastern European countries, and we briefly comment on infrastructure projects with a significant impact on natural gas supply. One of the main findings of the analysis is that the countries in the examined area are involved in various large-scale projects that are designed to reduce the extremely strong dependence of natural gas from a single source.
