Euroinfo, 2018, vol. 2, issue 2, 23-29
Abstract:
The article presents a qualitative analysis of the new initiatives on the free movement of the safe products in the Community area (December, 2017), namely the Regulation on the mutual recognition of goods lawfully marketed in another Member State and the Regulation laying down rules and procedures for compliance with and enforcement of Union harmonization legislation on products.A central focus holds the research on the lines of action proposed by the European Commission to strengthen confidence in the single market. The new legislative initiatives play an essential role in strengthening the internal market by increasing the quality control of products marketed within the EU and by better consumers’protection from unsafe products, including those imported from outside the EU.
