Abstract:
This article presents the package of measures taken by the European Commission regarding the infringments by the 27 Member States to fulfill their obligations under European Union law. By establishing the failure to fulfill obligations, the European Commission (the "Commission") seeks legal action against those Member States who are at fault. Decisions address different sectors and policy areas of the European Union and aim to ensure the proper enforcement of EU legislation for the benefit of citizens and businesses.
