PROMOTING THE ACTIVE EMPLOYMENT POLICIES IN THE EU

Abstract:
The author analyses the labour market and active employment policies in the EU, the recommendations for reducing long-term unemployment in the EU and not least the examples of good practice from the Member States. The article is based on the research of the European integration strengthening process of the EU labour market, together with the quantitative analysis of Eurostat data. The purpose of this research is to identify the best active employment measures implemented in order to find successful solutions applicable in other Member States and to promote them.
