Abstract:
The article analyses the progress and the strategic directions within the Energy Union, based on reports from the European Commission on the state of the Energy Union and the Jacques Delors Institute report. The research is based on a complex and multidisciplinary approach, which requires an analysis of the essential economic, technological, ecological aspects, an empirical and theoretical analysis. This type of study is based on consultation of the specialized literature, the official EU documents and the data provided by Eurostat.
