Abstract: In an era increasingly defined by environmental challenges and technological advancement, the role of communication design in promoting low-carbon sustainable development has become pivotal. This article explores how communication design serves as a catalyst for advocating, visualizing, and integrating sustainability principles across various domains. It examines how design strategies can effectively raise awareness, influence behavior, and foster widespread adoption of low-carbon practices. Through case studies ranging from packaging and book design to web interfaces, the article highlights innovative approaches and best practices in utilizing design to support environmental stewardship. By elucidating the interconnectedness of design aesthetics, advocacy, and product innovation within the framework of sustainability, this study underscores the transformative potential of communication design in shaping a sustainable future.
