Conference paper comprising a commentary on the development and administration of labour legislation in respect of equal pay in the USA and Canada - includes a brief comparison of the historical evolution of local level and national level legislation in the two countries, and covers the obstacles encountered, the discrimination against the woman worker at present, the future prospects, etc. Conference held in Geneva 1974 may 6 to 15.
