Working paper comprising a comparison of the factors influencing choice of technology with regard to can manufacturing in Kenya, Tanzania and Thailand - examines industrial structures, production costs and a range of alternative techniques adaptable to labour intensive sectors, and constitutes part of a WEP research project relating to technology and employment.
