Abstract: Working paper presenting a two part demographic and socio-economic model and its application to an interdisciplinary research analysis of Innovation in three agricultural areas in France - describes the methodology, evaluates its usefulness in showing the different interrelationships and constraints that characterise an evolving agricultural population and constitutes part of a WEP research project on population and employment. Flow charts, graphs and statistical tables.
