Working paper on migrant worker labour supply in Southern Africa, with particular respect to gold mining - analyses the implications of Apartheid and racial segregation policies on migration policy and employment policy in relation to Black migrants and expatriate workers, examines labour mobility, wage differentials, employment of miners, the effects of the gold markets, etc., and constitutes part of a WEP research project. References and statistical tables.
