Working paper on success and failure of a peasant movement regarding land reform in sind, Pakistan - traces the historical role of the sind hari committee in mobilizing landless tenant farmers for their struggle against landowners and the system of land tenure, and describes the movement's eventual decay as members of the leadership engaged themselves in other national questions. Diagram, references and statistical tables.
