Abstract: Working paper on a new methodological approach to the generation and dissemination of appropriate choice of technology in developing countries - considers the causes and repercussions of inappropriate technology transfer and weakness in research and development, presents case studies of India and Mexico with regard to the role of technology in rural communities, and discusses implementation of science policy.
