Working paper on traditional technology and intermediate technology used by rural women in Sierra Leone - outlines land tenure, sexual division of labour and other sociological aspects; reviews existing methods used for rice, palm oil and fish food processing, food preservation, water supply, cooking, soap-making, etc.; identifies areas in which improved technology could be useful and examines obstacles to the adoption of innovations and technological change.
