Abstract: Working paper analysing employment, unemployment and underemployment in Colombia - applying major labour market economic theories and concepts, examines unequal land and income distribution, labour force participation, reasons for under-utilisation, segmentation, etc., and comments on the limitations of labour legislation changes, employment policies, wage policies, social policy, migration policies and economic policies in the national planning period from 1979 to 1982.
