Abstract: Working paper on problems and prospects of the capital goods sector (machinery industry) in Nepal - based on a sample survey of 61 users and 98 producers, discusses the definition, role in economic development, production, domestic market demand, size of enterprise, entrepreneurial characteristics, capital investment, management attitudes, etc., and includes suggestions on industrial policy and employment policy.
