Abstract:
Diffusion study of institutional frameworks for agricultural technology Innovation, i.e., high yielding variety rice, in Bangladesh - applies Ruttan's induced Innovation model to explain technological change; deals with land ownership, subsistence farming, use of fertilizer, cooperative farming, and linkage between technological institutes and the economic conditions and social environment of the peasant farmer.
