Technical report on popular participation in the development of urban area informal sector in Kigali, Rwanda, 1982- 1985 - examines the occupational structure of small scale industry, handicrafts, etc.; discusses obstacles faced by the skilled worker concerning government policy, credit, equipment, etc.; finds increase in numbers of self employed, rise in income and labour productivity, and decrease of underemployment.
