Abstract:
Attempts to identify the inter-firm linkages, production techniques and work organization in small and medium-sized enterprises in the carpentry and building sectors in the Mutare region and three smaller towns. Claims that gradually introducing mechanization into small enterprises can enhance employment prospects.
