Roldan M.
ILO Working Papers from International Labour Organization
Abstract:
Analyses the nature, and the socioeconomic and employment implications of the restructuring of small and medium sized enterprises manufacturing motor vehicle components in a central region of Argentina. Uses two models in the analysis (just-in-time, just-enough-resources, total quality control, and flexible specialization-industrial district) to assess whether they are appropriate for restructuring in developing countries.
