Abstract: Based on the national Supplementary Home Work Survey 1997, examines the prevalence of home work in Chile and investigates the characteristics of homeworkers and the types of activities performed. Distinguishes between primary, secondary and occasional homeworkers. Covers trends from 1970 to 1997.
