Abstract: Estimates the relationship between education and disability adjusted life years (DALY) using World Bank data. Presents tables and charts that illustrate the dangers that children face at work on a daily basis in a variety of occupations and sectors in both developed and developing countries. Finds a positive relationship between education, in particular maternal education, and improved health status of children and their families.
