Abstract:
Based on the Australian Workplace Industrial Relations Survey 1995 and the British Workplace Employee Relations Survey 1998. Explores the incidence and nature of equal opportunities practices and investigates their effect on on firm performance, using productivity as a measure of performance. Focuses on small and medium-size enterprises and compares their case with larger firms.
