Explores how the promotion of cultural entrepreneurship may provide innovative possibilities for boosting incomes and for generating quality employment. Reviews socio-economic issues and global trends in the music industry and examines the music industry value chain within the South African Development Community (SADC) region. Analyses key issues and proposes targeted actions and interventions.
