Abstract:
Reviews the forms of irregular migration in the GCC countries and their magnitude. It discusses the consequences of such irregular migration on the migrants themselves and to the Gulf countries. It details important legislation undertaken in sending and host countries to minimize irregular migration and to prevent the abuse of migrant workers in general.
