Domestic work and domestic workers in Ghana: an overview of the legal regime and practice

Abstract: Recommends reform measures that would improve the conditions of domestic workers and promote their self-organization to defend their interests. Appends the drafts of a labour act, a labour contract and the Labour (Domestic Workers) Regulation 2007, prepared by LAWA (Ghana) Alumnae Incorporated in the framework of an advocacy project on the rights of domestic assistants in Ghana.
