Abstract:
This report highlights key employment and labour market challenges in five Middle East and North African (MENA) countries: Algeria, Jordan, Morocco, Syria and Turkey, and analyses current labour market policies, programmes and institutions with a focus on exclusion and discrimination in employment, particularly among women and youth. It also provides a number of recommendations to address the main employment challenges.
