Abstract: This paper highlights four national efforts towards greater coherence and coordination, ranging from more institutional cooperation in poverty reduction programmes to integrated macroeconomic and social protection policy responses to the global economic crisis. Each case study features lessons learned that other countries can consider when pursuing similar initiatives.
