Abstract: The research analyzes the behavior of the financings granted for the Federal Agenciesof Credit [Agências Federais de Crédito (AFCs)] to the diverse units of the federacy(UFs) and to the diverse sectors of the Brazilian economic activity, in the period1995-1999. The study it allowed to the construction of a diagnosis of the operationsof credit of the AFC the level of the diverse UFs. Of this form, in the body of thework it was analyzed regionally evolution of the distribution of the financings of theAFC for unit of the added federacy and to the long one of the period in analysis, aswell as the behavior of the outlays of the AFC the level of the UFs taking for base theGross Domestic Product (GDP) of the diverse UFs.
