Abstract: This paper analyses the performance of two Brazilian programmes of export promotionbased on public resources: the Financing Export Programme ? Proex and theBNDES-Exim. These programmes are already well consolidated and play an importantrole concerning Brazilian external commerce. These programmes should be revisedon continuous basis considering above all the international market dynamic.An econometrical analysis was carried out in order to verify this mechanisms effectivenesson the Brazilian exports increasing. The main conclusion is related to these programmesare crucial for the increasing of Brazilian external Sales.
