Abstract:
This paper presents a gradual process of conceptualization of the territorial dimension of EU cohesion policy in the programming period 2014-2020in the context of European integration. From this perspective the similar process in Poland is presented. The paper underlines the importance of European processes in the development and implementation of territorially-sensitive cohesion policy in this country. It indentifies the most important driving forces, mechanisms and barriers enhancing or hampering territorialisation of the Cohesion Policy in Poland.
