Machinery Management: Acquiring Farm Machinery Services--Ownership, Custiom Hire, Rental Leasing

Abstract: Today farmers can easily invest more than $100,000 in a single tractor or combine. Although most farmers own their own machinery, options such as custom hiring, renting, and leasing also are popular alternatives.
