Abstract: This report investigates historical and structural aspects of the Cedar Rapids / Linn Countyeconomy. Each section will provide basic conclusions about the regional economy, its performance, andits human capital structure to allow for solid and reliable inputs into strategic planning.Importantly, this assessment provides baseline data for assessing future performance and itprovides clear methods of those assessments that can be replicated.
