ISU General Staff Papers from Iowa State University, Department of Economics
Abstract:
Partnerships are business organizations that are owned by two or more people. The partnership is one of the three major forms of business organization, along with the sole proprietorship and the corporation. Partnerships may be established under varying degrees of formality, ranging from a quite informal, oral partnership agreement to a highly formal, written agreement.
