International Journal of Scientific Research in Computer Science, Engineering and Information Technology, 2023, vol. 9, issue 9, 173-177

Abstract: As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to transform various industries, it also presents significant challenges to cybersecurity, particularly regarding privacy and data security. AI-driven cyberattacks, such as advanced phishing, deepfakes, and automated malware, exploit system vulnerabilities, threatening sensitive data. This research explores the growing impact of AI in both perpetrating and defending against cyberattacks. It examines AI-based defense strategies, including predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and real-time threat response, and assesses their effectiveness. The study also considers the ethical and regulatory considerations necessary to protect privacy while fostering technological progress. Ultimately, the research highlights the need for adaptive, AI-powered security solutions and global cooperation to address these emerging threats and ensure a secure digital future.
