Abstract: यह शोधपत्र हिंदी साहित्य में दलित जीवन के यथार्थ चित्रण का विश्लेषण प्रस्तुत करता है। दलित साहित्य भारतीय साहित्य की वह धारा है जिसमें दलितों ने स्वयं अपनी पीड़ा, संघर्ष और अस्मिता को अभिव्यक्त किया है। इस अध्ययन में दलित साहित्य की अवधारणा, उसके उद्भव और विकास पर विचार करते हुए ओमप्रकाश वाल्मीकि की आत्मकथा 'जूठन' को केंद्र में रखा गया है। 'जूठन' (1997) दलित साहित्य की अग्रदूत रचना मानी जाती है, जिसमें लेखक ने अपने जीवन के भोगे हुए नग्न यथार्थ को प्रस्तुत किया है। शोध का निष्कर्ष है कि दलित साहित्य केवल साहित्यिक विधा नहीं, बल्कि सामाजिक न्याय और मानवीय अस्मिता का दस्तावेज है, जो जातिवादी शोषण के विरुद्ध आवाज उठाता है।
