Abstract: The paper examines the gender orientation of political discourse from a stylistic viewpoint. Gender markers contemporary English political discourse and the colloquial clichés that these markers form are analyzed. As politicians appear on the political stage, the verbalization of their political ideas is a new and promising oratorical experience. Therefore, the ways and means of analyzing the linguistic characteristics of politicians in terms of tenderness and benevolence seem to be a relevant and promising aspect of the study, given the linguistic and psychological features of intercultural communication.
