Abstract: Despite the long history of leadership research, management scholars have recently begun to define modern concepts of strategic leadership as a focus. The present study aims to review the theoretical literature on strategic leadership, the dimensions of strategic leadership, leadership, strategic thinking, strategic thinking models, and the advantages of strategic thinking, leadership model, and functional cadres.
