Simplified approach to implementing the concept of "optimized production technology"

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to reveal the peculiarities of the OPT and MRP systems and on that basis to systematise the conditions in which their combined application is appropriate in order to maximize their advantages and minimize their shortcomings in the context of small-scale production. Based on this analysis, a simplified approach is being proposed for the implementation of the OPT, which allows it to be implemented by modifying an already implemented MRP system. The main practical applications of the proposed approach are outlined in specific production conditions - small-scale production with a wide variety of manufactured products, great variance in orders, short delivery time and denial of internal backlog production. This paper raises the question of whether the students can be grouped based upon their internet experience. A clustering procedure is completed with variables of frequency of eight internet activities. Several cycles of hierarchal clustering are applied using the method of between-groups linkage with applied metrics for Squared Euclidian Distance. The F-test from the ANOVA table shows that the three most important indicators for the results of the clustering are: the frequency of game play; the frequency of socializing with other people online; and the frequency of shopping on the internet. Six clusters of people are defined.
