Abstract: Abstract This study sought to examine the relationship between ethical orientations and value for money in primary schools. By means of mixed method, using a cross-sectional design, the study integrated both the questionnaire and interview guide to collect data. One thousand and eighty respondents from two hundred and seventy-one schools responded, which yielded a 75% response rate. Quantitative data were entered into a Statistical Programme for Social Sciences and analysed using Structural Equation Modelling. The article demonstrates that ethical orientations have a significant positive influence on value for money. Educationalists should integrate ethical behaviour into policy development, training and resource management.
