Abstract:
Long run relationship between national saving and domestic investment is re-examined with Johansen MLE cointegration approach. Regression coefficient fl's of Feldstein-Horioka ( 1980) are estimated in VAR system. The results show quite high degree of capital mobility for OECD countries and Singapore but a low capital mobility for other developing countries.
