Abstract: This article analyzes the relation between the culture of native people and the tourism industry. While there are significant benefits of this industry are not reflected in improved quality of life for those who contribute to its development. Malnutrition and the social consequences of these new scenarios warrant perform a management proposal that the quality of life of these people is enhanced through income from tourism and a change in agricultural production. The originality of this article is the relation between the tourism industry, as a source of income, the nutritional situation of the native people and the suitable agriculture technology for to take advantages of the land.
