Política y política económica: reflexiones teóricas en torno del plan de ajuste 1984-1986 en Colombia

Abstract: The intention of this article is to present some of the conceptual developments on the existing relationship between the credibility of the public and the economic and political measures adopted by the present government along with the success of their application. In order to achieve this objective the author presents a historical review of the relevant literature on the subject that evaluates the concepts of credibility and reputation with logical associated developments on the role and management of the information. Once having established precise concepts on the presentation of macroeconomic dynamics representing the political process, a theoretical model, which includes such positions and application and explains the adjustment process in Colombia between 1984-1986, is formulated.
