Abstract: In addition to two Population Censuses (1961 and 1971) and two Industrial Censuses (1964 and 1974), Indonesia has also conducted two Agricultural Censuses in 1963 and in 1973. Although it may be argued that from two reference points only linear trends can be drawn, even a very modest analysis of the two Agricultural Censuses will reveal a number of interesting aspects.
