Abstract: This article describes the development of capital market in Indonesia and its prospects. The writer explained the role of capital market participants in how they interact to each other in order to set up developed capital market. In slightly version the writer also gave some examples about the efforts which hare taken to develop the capital market. Finally its concluded that prospect of capital market has been very related to the development of Indonesian economy.
